In our beginnings in 2000, we did not have much support for digitisation, but internally we have always implemented tools to achieve good levels in this regard, so in 2000 we developed a production control system in real time using barcodes, this led us to a learning process where thanks to funds provided by our regional government and support from specialised companies, we included in our staff computer technicians dedicated to the implementation of the improvement of the digitisation of the company. All this has led to a change in the company's organisational chart based on departmental controls, data collection and analysis collected from a RPS (an ERP solution) and command control APP. We have also generated a knowledge base of everything we implemented.
The beginnings of a company are always complicated, in the first place is to know how to place yourself in the industrial fabric looking for a sector in which you dominate and can be competitive, all this is modified by the different crises that arise in the life of the company and at that time it is essential to have a staff very involved with the project and have working tools that allow great flexibility when addressing new projects or focus on other sectors of the industry. There are always new difficulties which you have to overcome with different tools than those used in the initial phase.
The opportunities of digital learning are immense, as this process is the basis of having a high level of digitalisation in companies, as well as bringing great benefits in new situations, as has happened with COVID-19 where this digital learning has contributed to the continuation of education and preservation of jobs. We will be a fully connected company, both with customers, suppliers, employees and the manufacturing machines themselves, where we can have any type of data instantly, situation analysis, delivery schedules, etc... In other words, a whole company on a mobile phone that you can manage and analyse from anywhere in the world.
